What is senior send-off? A spring formal dance. While we anticipate most students will dress formally, students are welcome to attend in casual attire as well.

Is this a school event? No, this is a parent initiated and organized event

Who can attend? WL upperclassmen and their “plus one”

When is event scheduled? Saturday, May 8th, between 7-10 pm

Where will event be held? 750 S Gravel Pit Road (residence of Doug and Rachele Martin)

Is event indoors? Event will be outdoors. Kids will float between 40x60’ tent and 40x60’ open air building

What about weather? Event will proceed rain or shine

What does event include? Music, dancing, vendors, photos

Will there be a grand march? No, however, we will announce seniors and their “plus one’ during a red carpet moment. Video will be posted on website.

WIll event be chaperoned? Event organizers, plus the first 20 senior parent volunteers, will be onsite during entire event.

Who is funding event? We are relying on the donations of upperclassmen families to cover event organization expenses. Student ticket sales will cover SWAG.

Where will students park? Students will park at Decatur Conference Center and catch parent driven shuttle vans.

What does SWAG include? T-shirt, cupcake/cookie, tickets for door prizes, access to digital downloads for photo & video

Should students go to dinner before event? Food will be available. However, it will not be a full sit down dinner

Will there be food? Yes! We will have snacks and food will also be available from participating vendors

What vendors will be present? Notorious P.I.G, Mr. Softee

Should students bring money? A small amount for vendors

How to purchase tickets? E-tickets will be available on website beginning April 1st

When do ticket sales end? Tickets sales will end May 1st

How can I help? Donate money. Donate items. Volunteer to be a chaperone.

Can parents come? To keep numbers manageable, adult chaperones will be limited. The first 20 senior parents to volunteer will be selected . First come, first serve. If spots remain available one week prior, junior parents can sign up. (Sign up form will be posted soon)
